Why We Use Boring Technology
The case for choosing proven, stable technologies over the latest framework trends for production applications.
In a landscape where new frameworks are released weekly, choosing what to build your core product on can be overwhelming.
Our approach is simple: we use boring technology. We prefer tools that have been battle-tested in production for years, have extensive documentation, and a massive community.
This means we often choose PostgreSQL over the newest NoSQL database, or stick to standard REST APIs instead of adopting the latest data-fetching paradigm, unless the specific use case demands it.
